Nursery worker • Smith County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Smith County, Texas. You will work at a private estate garden. You will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
