VMC operator wanted in Lavaca County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Lavaca County, Texas. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
