Vacancy available: we are hiring a car refinisher in Hocking County, Ohio. The job is at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
