Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Chaffee County, Colorado. The job is in a residential garden complex. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting The role involves: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
