Fusing press operator — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Washington County, Illinois. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
