Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Hemphill County, Texas. The job is at a land-clearing site. Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day-to-day duties: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
