Gantry crane operator • Emuoha, Rivers State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Emuoha, Rivers State. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
