Confectioner wanted in Frio County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Frio County, Texas. You will be based at a busy bakery. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Day-to-day duties: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
