Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Give each garment a final press before packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time, day shift.
