Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Yamhill County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
