Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in McLeod County, Minnesota. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
