Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Rockwall County, Texas. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits On a typical shift you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
