Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Bida, Niger State. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Part-time with flexible hours.
