We are recruiting: commis chef (Katsina State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Daura, Katsina State. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Day to day you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. You should have: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
