Urgent requirement: press operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Douglas County, Illinois. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
