Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Kakching, Manipur. The job is at a road and highway construction project. You will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. You should bring sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing; good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones. Six days a week, one day off.
