Vacancy available: we are hiring a deboner in Greene County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate The role involves weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Rotating shifts. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
