Vacancy available: we are hiring a steam press operator in Shira, Bauchi State. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
