Immediate opening: gardener (Delta State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Ughelli South, Delta State. You will be based in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
