Shuttering carpenter — Rogo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Rogo, Kano State. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
