Rough terrain crane operator — Ikeduru

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Ikeduru, Imo State. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time, day shift.
