Rough terrain crane operator — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Jefferson County, Florida. The role involves work out the load weight and the lifting radius; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
