Bakery assistant • Takai, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Takai, Kano State. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
