Immediate opening: punch press operator (Washington)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Pend Oreille County, Washington. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
