Paint booth operator — Multnomah County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Multnomah County, Oregon. The job is at a powder coating unit. Your main tasks: • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time You should have: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms 1+ years on the tools preferred.
