Ironing operator — Njaba

We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Njaba, Imo State. The job is in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 4+ years on the tools preferred.
