We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Sonitpur, Assam. The job is at a plant nursery. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers You should bring previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance; good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting; pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage. ₹30,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
