Now hiring: we are hiring a banquet server in Thomas County, Kansas. You will lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; check back during the meal and handle special requests. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
