Captain waiter • Kent County, Delaware

We are recruiting: we are hiring a captain waiter in Kent County, Delaware. You will work at a busy restaurant. You will lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel Six days a week, one day off.
