Fettler — Mangan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Mangan, Sikkim. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideally you have knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding; physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings. On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. ₹14,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
