Vacancy available: we are hiring a steam press operator in Lavaca County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching.
