Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Abi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Abi, Cross River State. The job is on a quarry floor. Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Full-time with occasional weekends.
