Vacancy available: tracked excavator operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Knox County, Illinois. The role involves work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
