Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Elliott County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Full-time, day shift.
