Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Bibb County, Alabama. The job is in a botanical garden. The role involves rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
