Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Gombe, Gombe State. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. You should have: • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage On a typical shift you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet.
