Garden maintenance worker • Wayne County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Wayne County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends.
