Tower crane operator — Titus County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Titus County, Texas. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Your main tasks: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging 6+ years on the tools preferred.
