Estate gardener — Monroe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an estate gardener in Monroe County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
