Lifting rigger — Majuli

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Majuli, Assam. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
