Painter and decorator — Walsall

Great opportunity: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Walsall, England. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec On a typical shift you will fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,200 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
