Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Nkwerre, Imo State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
