Formwork erector • Ogoja, Cross River State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in Ogoja, Cross River State. Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
