Great opportunity: we are hiring a sausage maker in Morris County, New Jersey. The job is in a meat processing plant. Your main tasks: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Season and marinate meat on request • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Part-time with flexible hours.
