Urgent requirement: turning centre operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Somervell County, Texas. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
