Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. ₦265,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
