Join our team: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Hardin County, Illinois. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Day-to-day duties: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
