Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Addison County, Vermont. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
