Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Carbon County, Utah. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Six days a week, one day off.
