Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Rush County, Indiana. The role involves prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
